I love my Po Po aka Granny from the Mother side. My Po Po = Binz Po Po too coz he is the son of my mum's sister. LOL what am I typing hahaha!
Last Sunday when I arrived at her house, I smelt a uber l33t aroma from the kitchen, so I decided to take a picture of the l33t chef! My Po Po's cooking skill is UBER! She cooks many fantastic dishes but my favourite is Fried Rice.
Her Fried Rice is just so simple, yet not many people got the skill to execute such a easy dish. Just eggs, rice and black sauce. Not sure if she uses overnight rice for better texture. Many people have the misconception that you need many ingredients for cooking Fried Rice, too much tend to make the diner confuse! Fried Rice IMO should just be Fried Rice, simple, honest, basic Fried Rice!
A pity the last time I ate her Fried Rice was bout 8months ago. As I type this post, I still remember the wok smell emerging from the delicious plate of rice, sigh I must take a picture of it!
